The Bronx – North of Manhattan and home to the renowned New York Yankees baseball team.
Staten Island – Containing a surburbian character, Staten Island is a large island located to the south of Manhattan.
New York experiences all four season climates with all extremes from heat and humidity in the summer (June to September) down to a temperatue of -3°C in January and all tourists must therefore plan appropriately. Christmas can be a very special time in the Big Apple with the festive feel transfering from shops to attractions and public displays.
